WAEC Results upgrade promo, What is WAEC Doing?

As another exam season draws nearer WAEC Results upgrade promos have taken over social media platforms again. For sure, these people know some students will surely fail hence they are putting in plays strategies to win some “souls”.

Their adverts are calling on interested students to apply for their bad grades to be updated.  For many students who have sat for the dreaded WASSCE countless times as school-based candidates and remedial students but never passed, this dangerous approach seems the only means of making good grades.

WAEC has on numerous occasions advised the public about such scammers. We believe WAEC can do more than a just warning. The attached advert shows is a clear indication that some people are able to break security or have found a way of changing results. The Ghana police must act swiftly so we safeguard our examination.

Below is a full advert telling potential students seeking to change their results the benefits. Attached is a form designed using the WAEC logo. This itself is a serious crime. Take a look at the image below. WAEC does not have any form like this. If it has, what is its main use?

Wassce results upgrade is the process of changing your bad grades to any desired results of your choice. Let’s say you had D7 in Geography, it can be changed to any other preferred grade of your choice. Upgrading of results is done to help students further their education.

Most people will tell you that upgrading of results is fake or it is another form of scam due to their past experience with “hungry” persons who claim to be waec officials.
