US Vice President Kamala Harris’ full speech in Ghana

The Vice President of the United States, Kamala Harris, who is on a three-nation tour of Africa touched down in Accra to begin a week-long journey that will see him visit Ghana, Tanzania, and Zambia.
Kamala Harris arrived in Ghana on Sunday, March 26, 2023, in the company of her husband, Douglas Emhoff and other top officials in the US government.
On arrival at the Kotoka International Airport, Vice President of the United States, Kamala Harris was warmly received amid traditional drumming and cheers from some school pupils.
While delivering her speech on arrival, she indicated that the US was ready to hold discussions that will foster opportunities in various sectors of the continent of Africa.
It is hoped that her visit to Ghana will further strengthen the relationship that exists between Ghana and the US on all fronts.
