Black Friday as Two Teachers Reported Dead
Two teachers reported dead has sent shocks across the teaching fraternity as many have termed it a Black Friday. One of the dead is a male teacher while the other is a female.
The female teacher was alleged to have fallen in the bathroom while bathing, this lead to her death. Reports suggest that Ms. Sally Ansah fell during the bathing on Friday morning, 28 November 2019 and that she taught at the Ntafrewaso Methodist Primary School in the Central region.
She was rushed to Twifo Praso Government Hospital but she could not make it. The Ntafrewaso Methodist Primary School is located in the Twifo Atti Morkwa District Mampong Circuit in the Central Region.
In a related development, on the same day, a 24-year-old facilitator (teacher) was also found dead in his bedroom on Friday morning at the Breman Brakwa Presbyterian Base School in the district of Asikuma Odoben Brakwa in the central area.
Byron Akufo Ampofo has never reported of illness before going to bed the previous night, according to the teacher friend of the victim, who is also a resident in the same room, and so his death was a big shock.
She said she was concerned and asked residents if they had seen her friend wake up and prepare him for work, as he would have done that morning after waiting a while. In the affirmative, nobody responded.
Amid multiple knocks at the departed teacher’s door, the neighbors had no choice but to forcibly open the door.
According to news coming, the young teacher was lying in the kneeling position and dead in his bed to their greatest shock of everyone. There were no physical signs of him fighting to indicate that he was attacked.
The Breman Brakwa Police subsequently reported this issue to residents for assistance. The body was transferred for autopsy in Our Lady of Grace Hospital in Breman Asikuma during the police investigation of his death.
