This is the best time to own shares in Atlantic Lithium
According to the general manager of Operations at Atlantic Lithium, Ahmed-Salim Adam, this is the best time to buy shares of the Atlantic Lithium Company on the Ghana Stock Exchange.
The lithium exploration and development company, which is mainly focused on Africa, is hoping to deliver Ghana’s first lithium mine.
The company, Atlantic Lithium, is now the first lithium company to be listed on the Ghana Stock Exchange.

The company is advancing its flagship project in the Central Region of Ghana, Ewoyaa to be precise. The company has a reputation as the leading taxpayer and employer of the region since 2016.
The Ewoyaa community is on progress to become Ghana’s first lithium mine and the third largest lithium mine in Africa, putting Ghana as a significant producer of lithium; a mineral that is considered vital in the transition to electrification through the adoption of electric vehicles.
The lithium mining project is expected to create over 800 new direct jobs for Ghanaians from as early as the construction phase.

Contributing to a panel discussion on the topic “Development of West Africa’s Critical Mineral Resources for Sustainable Development” at the ongoing 17th Edition of the West African Mining and Power Conference and Exhibition (WAMPOC/WAMPEX) on Wednesday (5 June), at the Accra International Conference Centre in Accra, the general manager of operations urged Ghanaians to own shares in the firm to deepen local content.
“In our case, we were listed on the GSE during our pre-production phase, thus making it a very good time to buy Atlantic Lithium shares, the shares are traded live as is done for the London and Australia Stock Exchange and the Ghana Stock Exchange is supportive of that, everybody has the opportunity to own Atlantic Lithium shares.”

“Again, this is something we had to do, as part of the Mining Lease requirements, and we spear headed this because share prices are currently up,” Adam said.
Uses of Lithium in Our Everyday Lives
Lithium has the lowest density of all metals. It reacts vigorously with water.
The most important use of lithium is in rechargeable batteries for mobile phones, laptops, digital cameras and electric vehicles.
Lithium is also used in some non-rechargeable batteries for things like heart pacemakers, toys and clocks.
