Interestingly, Inter Miami had previously triumphed over Orlando City with a resounding 5-0 victory in March, when all players were fit and ready to compete.

In an interview with MLS Wrap-Up, Sacha Kljestan discussed the challenges faced by Inter Miami when they are unable to choose from their complete range of attacking talent. He also mentioned that the absence of Messi significantly alters the dynamics of the team, even though Suarez is still an exceptional player. However, Kljestan believes that Suarez’s performance is not the same without Messi’s presence.

With the Argentine international missing training on Tuesday, Messi being rested for this week’s Florida derby was a smart decision from Tata Martino, who admitted that the forward should be available for Saturday.

Yet Kljestan pointed out what happens to Suarez when Messi isn’t playing for Inter Miami.
