Special Presecutor can’t bite after all –A Plus Jabs OSP
The Special Prosecutor Martin Amidu has indicated that his office lacks the mandate to deal with crimes related to finance and economic issues. This was after The Good Governance Advocacy Group Ghana (GGAGG) had revealed it will petition Martin Amidu and his Office of the Special Prosecutor to investigate the Power Distribution Service saga.
This revelation by the Special Prosecutor has not gone down well with a section of Ghanaians including A-Plus who continues to chastise the government on all fronts.
A-Plus took to his Facebook page to laugh at this revelation saying:
“Now that Martin Amidu has made it very clear that he cannot fight against corruption can we arrange for him to fight against Bokom Banku? He can’t take salary for nothing. Whether he likes it or not he must fight against something or someone”
“The special prosecutor Martin Amidu has reiterated his office does not have the mandate to investigate financial and economic crimes.”

So what can he investigate? The poor goat thief? Or the wee smoker? Ghana!!! Smh.
Attempts by some people to do some damage control for the Special Prosecutor was also challenged by A Plus. In responding to one of such comments he said to the person who commented on his post on Facebook:
“Why are you getting involved in this? You are my friend. Stay away from my page. I don’t want to block you. I don’t want to insult you either. You NPP people are just a bunch of conformists and 20 Ghana screenshot takers. The man himself just released a statement stating clearly what he can and cannot do. You are also here fooling!!! When you guys meet me in private too you will talk about how bad the government is and how disappointed you are. All of you. Wtf is wrong with you?
Some people are also of the view that, from the write-up, common sense should tell us that OSP is created to chase NDC past appointees.
“A man must hold his manhood for urine to have a direction. But no matter how careful you’re, the last drop of your urine still belongs to your boxer”.
The OSP is becoming a laughing stock in the eyes of the ordinary Ghanaian and many continue to ask its creation has served its purpose two and a half years of the NPP in government.
