Shakeup in Police service: CID boss Tiwaa, 23 others reassigned

Massive Shakeup in Police service rocks Ghana Police Service as IGP reshuffles top leadership. COP Maame Tiwaa removed as CID boss. The Criminal Investigative Department (CID) boss, COP Maame Tiwaa Addo Danquah, has been withdrawn from the headquarters of the Ghana Police Service as a major shake-up his the Ghana Police Service.
It is succeeded by COP Isaac Ken Yeboah, one of the officers whose name popped up as capable of handling the post of Police Inspector-General.

He was the Director-General responsible for the administration until this new role and appointment. Consequently, COP Tiwaa was designated as Director-General in charge of welfare as the head of the Ghana Police Service welfare department.
The Head of the Administration of the Service was withdrawn from the care of COP George Akuffo Dampare.
The shakeup in Police service also saw COP Tetteh Yohuno being assigned from the MTTD role to special duties.
