COVID-19: Private schools to be supported by government through stimulus package – Check out how your school can benefit

Private schools to be supported by the government through the stimulus package for the COVID-19 pandemic.

Schools are to furnish the MoF with Salary Payment Vouchers for February 2020 (a certified hard copy and soft copy in excel format). This will enable the government to collect and collate the needed data and to cover potential beneficiaries for the stimulus packages to support Private Schools in this time of school closure during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Schools are expected to provide the information being requested through the leadership of the council. GNACOPS. All data are to be submitted through this email: gnacopsgh@gmail.com

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, government directives hit all schools and places of worship leading to their closure. Since then, private school employees and employers, (teachers and school owners) have continued to call for support since their main source of income (Fees) are not forthcoming.

Schools must, however, have TIN numbers and bank accounts to be able to receive payment if selected as a beneficiary institution.  All schools should kindly treat this as urgent. Read the details in the attached letters.

Please the school owners are saying that the package only belongs to the school, teachers are not inclusive. Please I need clarification.
