Power FM Radio Presenter Jailed over Threats to Akuffo Addo

On December 14, 2020, the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service captured the Accra-based Power FM radio presenter for hurling insults and compromising threats towards Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
He asserted that the President after the December 2020 voting polls, met certain adjudicators including the Chief Justice, Kwasi Anin-Yeboah.
He asserted this was an endeavor by President Akufo-Addo to impact the adjudicators should the his key rival John Mahama choose to request of the courts over the results of the general elections.

He was prosecuted by Godfred Yeboah Dame, the Attorney General.
Oheneba Boamah Bennie is to carry out his punishment at the Nsawam Prisons.

He was apprehended by the CID when he was called in to consider issues surrounding his case.
