The NDC’s parliamentary candidate for the Odododiodio constituency, Nii Lante Vanderpuy has been spotted in pictures of NDC sympathizers who sustained various degrees of injury when concurrent peace walks by the NDC and NPP turned violent.

The youth of this country need to look beyond the election and ask themselves if they should allow themselves to go through such ordeals in the name of politics.
Politics is simply a battle of ideas and not violence, attacks, and fighting among ourselves.
We must be careful not to destroy this country using party politics. Electoral violence must not be entertained in the 2020 elections.

Bukom Banku has asked law enforcement agencies to ensure that Member of Parliament for Odododiodoo constituency, Nii Lante Vanderpuye, and his opponent Nii Lante Bannerman sign a bond of good behaviour.
However, a bond of good behaviour is not enough. We need tolerance, respect for each other and a better understanding of politics. Party supporters must also restrain from many actions that are potential conflict generating choices and desist from them.
Do not support electoral violence. Speak against it, avoid it, preach peace.
We Ghanaians should think of peace because non of the parties is taking the country anywhere after winning.
Ghana will still belongs to each and every Ghanaian, and four years will soon come.
