NPP is brainwashing teacher trainees – Find the truth now!
It is unfortunate that the NPP is brainwashing teacher trainees with adulterated political messages on teacher trainees’ allowance.
The truth is that education is different from knowledge and information available is not always the same as fact. Until you, as a trainee teacher has a given knowledge based on the right information, you cannot be said to have the facts to make your education on a matter complete enough to make the right deductions. And in such a case, a party like the NPP will continue to lure you and hide the truth from you.

Before the attempt to replace the teacher allowance with students’ loans, the teacher training colleges were not tertiary institutions. The then NDC government elevated all such colleges to the tertiary level status.
Prof Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang‘s nomination as the running mate for the NDC for the 2020 December elections has resurrected the lies of the NPP and the trainees in school and those who are now trained teachers must appreciate that this same Prof. painted black, a witch and a not good enough to be Vice President of Ghana by the “We are always right NPP” upgraded the Teacher Training Colleges to Diploma awarding institutions.
The NPP is only spending Ghana’s scare resources on recurrent expenditures for the fun of it. If there are questions to ask, we should be asking the NPP why they have not turned the Diploma awarding institutions into Universities specialized in Basic School Education Diploma and Degree Awarding Institutions or Build more Colleges of Education.
This is in itself brought value to certificates of teachers trained since that time till today. Now no public tertiary institution receives allowances. This is what as trainees we must get right unless we are sayings our Colleges of Education should revert to Training Colleges.
Training allowances were meant for Training Colleges, and Students’ loans are for the Tertiary institutions.
The NPP is brainwashing teacher trainees by insisting that their allowances were canceled. But why do you pay school fees then government returns it to you over your period of study as teacher trainee allowance? Why not be admitted for free without paying fees so that you fend for yourself?
There is no clear cut wisdom in that acts surrounding the Teacher Trainee allowance. It is unfair for the teacher trainees in tertiary institutions to be on allowance while their mates in universities are on the students’ loan.

Another trick that has been used by the NPP to brainwash teacher trainees is the compulsory National Service. By accepting to enjoy teacher trainee allowance, the NPP led government decided to find a way to take back that free money from you through the back door.
Before the NPP government introduced the National Service for teachers, one was assured of outright posting to a school upon completion of his or her programme. Now you have to complete 8-9 months or more of national service.
Whiles doing this, you get half or less of the salary you should have been paid right after school if posted to your station.

What it means is that government paid you a portion of that money while in school and decided to pay you the rest by compelling you to do the national service and they save some of your salaries to take care of what they gave you as a teacher trainee allowance.
You see how the now that the NPP is brainwashing teacher trainees by not telling them what they have done to you.
Keep screaming Prof Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang canceled the allowance and keep the medical doctor in charge of the educational sector. The truth will set your minds free.
