Mobile money vendor stabbed multiple times on his neck
Mobile money vendor who is identified as Junior has been murdered in his one-room apartment at Kwadaso.
This incident happened at Kumasi. He was said to have closed from his mobile money shop at Kwadaso in the evening. According to an eyewitness, he was in his room, but it seems that someone close to him knew about the purported amount of 200 thousand Ghana cedis and decided to murder him without any cause. According to the eyewitness, when the police arrived, he had been locked inside his room with his own padlocks used in front of his house, closed as if he was not around, and left to die in there.
One close source says that in the morning, an elderly man wanted to find out if he was really not at home, but he realized that at the back of his window, there were houseflies around it, so he decided to peep through. He realized that Junior˜s fan was on, but the smell coming from the room was very foul, so they decided to alert neighbors. The neighbors then called the police. Upon the arrival of the police, they broke through the front door and decided to enter, only to find 24-year-old Junior in the room with his hands tied at his back, strangled to death with a rope, and then stabbed many times on his neck in an attempt to cut off his head. They decided to cut off his neck too.
This has left a lot of neighbors confused because Junior was a quiet person and didn’t™t like trouble.
Now netizens are afraid to venture into the mobile money business. The Ghana police are investigating the matter to see what went wrong, and they have promised the public that they will make sure those who did this will be arrested and jailed. Now, Juniors parents are very sad about the event and dont know who might have wanted their sons life. People have pointed fingers at some suspects who might be behind the whole thing, but it is alleged, so they are still looking into it.
