Manager of hotel where KNUST graduate was found dead breaks silence

The manager of a hotel in Anaji, Takoradi, where a KNUST graduate, Lois Abena Koranteng, was found dead has finally broken its silence on the incident.

According to Gabriel Paddmon Hackman, the hotel manager, the incident occurred before he took over the management position at the hotel.

Lois Abena Koranteng, a Petroleum Engineer graduate, was allegedly on a business trip with her boss and a company driver when she checked into the hotel on June 7, 2024.

Unfortunately, she was found dead in a pool wearing only a pant and bra at dawn on June 8, 2024. The circumstances surrounding her death remain unclear.

Despite the hotel’s initial silence on the matter, Gabriel Paddmon Hackman revealed that two hotel staff members were arrested in connection with the case and later granted bail.

However, he refused to disclose the charges against them or their bail requirements.

When asked about the status of the investigation, the manager assured that it is still ongoing and promised that the police will make their reports public due to the widely publicized nature of the case.

However, the family of the victim has contradicted this claim, stating that no investigation has been launched nor any arrest made despite an official complaint lodged at Anaji-Takoradi Police Station.

The family’s concerns have raised further questions about the transparency and efficiency of the investigation.

The lack of information from both the hotel management and the police has only added to the mystery surrounding Lois Abena Koranteng’s death.

As the investigation continues, one thing is certain – justice must be served for Lois Abena Koranteng and her family.
