Jerry Afriye Set To Return Back To Black Satellites Camp For Quarterfinals Clash
Ghanaian U20 star Jerry Afriyie is set to rejoin the Black Satellites camp for the upcoming quarterfinal clash against the host country, Egypt.
Per publications from Joy Sports earlier today, they had it that Jerry Afriyie is already enroute to join the Black Satellites camp in Egypt for the quarterfinal clash with Egypt, which can secure them a spot in the upcoming U20 World Cup.
Jerry Afriyie departed the team’s camp after the first two group games of the U20 AFCON tournament, as reports have it that the GFA had an agreement with Jerry Afriyie’s team, CD Lugo, for him to return back to Spain after the first two games.
He missed Ghana’s last group game when the team faced the Central African Republic and won by a goal to nil.
Head Coach of the Ghana U20 Desmond Offei will be very happy to see Jerry Afriyie return back to his squad, as his presence always has an impact on the team’s results.
Ghana will be facing host country Egypt in the quarter finals of the African Cup of Nations U20 tournament on Monday at exactly 15:00 GMT.
