I don’t care if I’m sabotaged – Ceccy Twum

Ceccy Twum, a Ghanaian gospel musician, has shared how she feels about being sabotaged. Cecy Twum reiterated that it always happens among the gospel music fraternity.

During an interview on Joy Prime’s Changes show, she indicated that there are numerous cases where people are sabotaged in the industry. She said that certain groups shows favoritism and even convince some Disk Jockeys (DJs) not to play the songs of some artistes.

The female gospel musician made it clear that she’s not letting the negativity shake her and base on that God is her shelter when things get hard.

Ceccy Twum told Roselyn Felli on the show that “I always say to myself that when I was nobody and God pulled me from wherever I was and brought me here, you did not make me for you to break me. So whatever you do whether you sabotage me or not I don’t care. My God will still fight for me and you can do nothing about it.”

Ceccy Twum went on to say that a group of people in the music industry are very selective and sometimes occasionally work together with some DJs not to play certain the songs of certain artists. She stated that “I heard that there are some group of people that plan with DJs not to play your songs. So when you bring out a song, they have a platform and there are some people they call gatekeepers who will tell the DJs not to play particular song.”

She drew to attention that, the “Me Nyame Aye Awie” noted that she is not bothered about not being left out. She expressed her firm belief that God is her refuge.
