Hon Okudzeto to hold a press conference at the National Cathedral today

Hon. Okudzeto is to hold a press conference at the National Cathedral today, March 6th, at exactly 2 p.m. The announcement of the media engagement has been made. Reacting to the announcement and its associated images, the National Cathedral Secretariat has denied organising any such event and called the announcement fake.
However, Hon. Okudzeto disputes the National Cathedral Secretariat’s denial of a media engagement, calling it fáke. He criticises the cathedral’s promised commissioning and invites attendees to the 2 p.m. event.
The National Cathedral construction commenced in 2018 and was expected to be completed and commissioned today, March 6, 2024. Sadly, all one can see at the location of the National Cathedral is what has become known as the World’s Most Expensive Pit.
$450 million (5.7 billion GHC) of Ghanaian taxpayers’ money was spent on digging a pit with no real value in sight. Buildings housing judges, offices, and other high-value properties were destroyed to pave the way for the construction of the National Cathedral.
The invitation to the press conference at reads as follows:
President Akufo-Addo’s Cathedral Commissioning Day
Media Engagement

Wednesday 6th March, 2024 at 2 PM
For God and Country
Imagine for a minute all the consultants, architects, contractors, and individuals who have chopped our money and are walking freely. Imagine for a minute what $450 million can do for the good people of Ghana!
According to Hon. Okudzeto, the said media engagement at the site of the National Cathedral is not fake and will come off as scheduled. He has therefore invited the general public and the media to the event.
“Kindly ignore false claims by the National Cathedral Secretariat that our media engagement scheduled for 2 p.m. today at the World’s Most Expensive US$58 million Pit is fake.”
“There’s nothing fake about today’s press interaction—people claiming to be building a cathedral for God should not be engaging in such blatantly dishonest conduct.”
“The National Cathedral Secretariat should rather be speaking to their fake promise to God and fellow citizens that President Akufo-Addo’s US$450 million “priority of priorities cathedral” will be commissioned today, March 6, 2024.” See you all at 2 p.m. Happy Independence Day! For God and Country.” He stated this in a Twitter post sighted by NewsGhana24.com.
