Global Basic School and Anseco Basic to Young Minds Intellectual Quiz Final

Global Basic School and Anseco Basic School became the first two schools to qualify to the Grand Finale of the ongoing Young Minds Intellectual Quiz Championship for basic schools in the Keta – Anlo Municipality.

The two schools have qualified ahead of Little Roses School Complex and Ketasco Basic School in a keenly contest. The competiting Schools have all put up their possible best towards making it to the next round of the contest.

Global Basic School has doeminated the first four rounds which keeps them in a comfortable lead followed by Anseco Basic School. In the last round which is the SHARK round, Global Basic School was still in the lead with almost 14 points ahead of the Anseco Basic School.

At the end of the contest, Global Basic was declared the winner with 61 Points followed by Anseco Basic School with 47 points and then Little Roses School Complex with 37 points and Ketasco Basic School with 34 points.
This has made Global Basic School and Anseco Basic School to qualify automatically to the Grand Finale ahead of Little Roses School Complex and Ketasco Basic School.

Winners of Semifinal Awards of Young Minds Intellectual Quiz

The Global Basic School swept all the prestigious awards for the day in grand fashion. On the day, took home four awards given out after the contest. They include the award for the Best score in the English round, Science, Maths and the overall best score.
The next two schools to join Global Basic School and Anseco Basic School in the final will be determined in the last semifinal contest between Keta – Anlo State School, Shalom Shalom School, Avete Basic School and Abor E.P Basic School on the 22nd May 2019(WEDNESDAY) at Keta – Anlo State School premises.
