GES cautions public over fake recruitment letter

The Management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) has warned the public against a letter which is circulating on social media claiming that recruitment into the Service has begun, that all such info are as fake documents.
According to Daniel Fenyi, who is the Head of Public Relations and the Management of Ghana Education Service (GES) made it clear in a statement dated January 23 and signed that, it had taken note of an alleged recruitment letter. The Management of Ghana Education Service (GES) also clarified that, the recruitment has not yet begun and that the document was not issued by the Service. The statement read that “Management wishes to inform the general public that recruitment has not yet begun. The letter currently in circulation is fake and does not originate from the Ghana Education Service.”
As per the statement, any official recruitment exercise by the Ghana Education Service (GES) will be communicated solely via its authorized and official platforms when the process formally begins. Members of the public are therefore advised to disregard any recruitment notifications that do not come directly from Ghana Education Service (GES).
“An official announcement will be made exclusively through GES’s official platforms when the recruitment process officially begins,” the statement added. “The public is therefore advised to treat as false any recruitment announcement that does not emanate from the official platforms of the Ghana Education Service.”
Ghana Education Service (GES) has encourage every individual to verify information before taking any action and to consult the Ghana Education Service (GES) official communication channels for updates on recruitment and other announcements.
