Father’s Foundation provides generous support to Reggie’s Daycare Centre

Father’s Foundation, in collaboration with the Ghana Association for Sports Betting Operators (GHASBO), generously donated a variety of educational materials and a cash contribution to Reggie’s Daycare Centre located in Kojo Sardine, a suburb of La in the Greater Accra Region.

The donation ceremony, which took place earlier on Tuesday April 30, was attended by representatives from the foundation, GHASBO, and the daycare center.

The donated items included 40 pieces each of A1 and D1 books, pencils, pens, erasers, dusters, boxes of crayons, markers, and water boxes, biscuits, toffees, 3 cartons of soft drinks along with a cash donation of GH500.00.

These items will significantly benefit the 126 children enrolled at Reggie’s Daycare Centre, comprising 24 kindergarten 1 pupils, 56 kindergarten 2 pupils, and 88 nursery students.

Rebecca Aggrey, the headmistress of Reggie’s Daycare Centre, expressed heartfelt gratitude for the generous donation.

She emphasized the importance of creating a conducive learning environment for the children and appealed for further support, particularly in the form of chairs and other essential school supplies.

Amaning-Kwarteng Kwadwo Opoku, Executive Member of GHASBO, highlighted the organization’s commitment to corporate social responsibility and its decision to contribute to the welfare of the children at Reggie’s Daycare Centre.

He reiterated the significance of assisting communities in need and commended the collaborative efforts of Father’s Foundation and GHASBO in supporting the educational development of the children.

Fada Amakye, the Chief Executive Director of Father’s Foundation, outlined the organization’s vision and mission to support underprivileged children by providing essential educational resources.

He emphasized the importance of nurturing a spirit of giving in the children and empowering them to become responsible citizens who contribute to the well-being of others.

The impactful donation from Father’s Foundation and GHASBO underscores the value of collective efforts in enriching the educational experiences of young learners.

Reggie’s Daycare Centre and its students are immensely grateful for the generosity displayed by these organizations and look forward to continued support from the community, corporate entities, and individuals to further enhance the learning environment for the children.
