Double’ unleashed to Cause Mayhem in Akuapem North.

A member of the National Security, Bright Ernest Akomeah, popularly known as ‘Double’ was on Sunday spotted at Tutu briskly searching for NPP Electoral Area Coordinators in the town to assault as the party’s polling station elections draws closer.
Members of the community are shocked by this horrendous act of Double and do not understand why he could be used for such a heinous act particularly on Electoral Area Coordinators at this particular point in time.
Just last week, Double was similarly spotted at Mamfe and Mampong wielding and firing a gun in unwarranted and bizarre circumstances.

According to eye-witnesses and bystanders, the actions of Double were a surprise to them since he is not a known figure in the aforementioned towns and thus considers such a horrendous act detestable.
According to bystanders at Mamfe, Double was emphatic and bold to say, “This is just the beginning and I will be back again”. This has engulfed and subjected the people in the area to perpetual fear and panic.
Information gathered indicates that Double is being courted to cause disaffection and destabilize the peace of these towns by the current National Organizer of the NPP who is believed to be eyeing a seat in the area.
It will be recalled that in September 2019, Double was implicated in the outcome of the Emile Short Commission’s report. The report recommended criminal prosecution of Double for the unauthorized possession of firearms under section 192(1) of the Criminal Offences Act.
