Coronavirus: 6 million masks missing in Kenya
Six million face masks ordered to resource workers and help them stay safe from the COVID-19 pandemic has gone missing from an airport in Kenya. The nose masks were meant for health workers.
According to Der Spiegel, a German magazine the nose masks were expected to arrive on 20 March but the consignment never arrived after disappearing at the end of last week.

It is however still difficult to explain why the masks were in Kenya.
“The authorities are trying to find out what happened,” a spokeswoman of the German defense ministry
told the Reuters news agency in a report.

“Whether this [is] a matter of theft or a provider who isn’t serious, is being cleared up by customs.” s government official also said in the wake of the missing nose masks in Kenya
However, Kenya’s health ministry has refused to comment on the development and Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) spokeswoman has revealed there are efforts going on to help iron out the bottlenecks and come to the facts surrounding the missing nose masks.
