COP Ken Yeboah is new CID boss, takes over from Tiwaa

The Inspector-General of Police(IGP), James Oppong-Boanuh, has made major changes in the command structure of the service. This includes the office of the CID.

COP Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah, who has been moved to a new role was the CID boss. She is now Head of the Ghana Police Service’s Director-General in charge of welfare for the service.
She was the Director-General of the Criminal Investigative Department of the Ghana Police Service until her new appointment.

In the wake of the kidnappings and the bruhaha that followed her statements at the police press briefing, and the subsequent events that followed including the death of the three missing Takoradi Girls, the public cried for her to step down as the CID boss.
