CAGD Salary Payment | The Controller set payment dates for 2024

The salary payment dates for the months of 2024 for salaried workers on the Government of Ghana’s payroll system has been released by the Controller and Accountant General’s Department.
In a memo we have, and signed by Kwasi Kwaning-Bosompem; Ag. Controller & Accountant-General, all parties and stakeholders are to take note of this announcement.
“The memo said that, civil servants, the Ghana Education Service (GES) and all other public servants who work for the Controller & Accountant-Generals Department in 2024 will get their salaries and wages on the dates indicated below”.

In January and February 2024, civil servants, the Ghana Education Service and all other public servants will be paid on 22nd, while in October will be paid on the 24th.
The payment date for April, July and November will be on 25th, and the payment date for March and September will be on 26th.
On 27th, May, June and August 2024 salaries, while December will be paid on 19th. The various banks will start crediting the accounts of employees from the dates indicated above.
The Controller and Accountant General’s Department (CAGD) has assured that any change in the above dates will be communicated to the Ministries, Departments, Agencies, Assemblies and respective Banks.
