Breaking: MCE of West Mamprusi Municipality fired
The MCE who has since receive his dismissal letter from the seat of government through the ministry of local government, is accused of incompetence and disrespect against party leadership in the region.
Information privy to NorthernWebGh.com also indicates that, the MCE has unresolved issue with the local government minister, Hajia Alima Mahama and some party executives.
NorthernWebGh.com sources close to the seat of government has revealed that, several MMDCEs including other appointees in the Northern region will be sacked before the end of 2019 base on competency, and their relationship with party members.
A report revealed that he was being sacrificed for alleged inefficiency and his poor relations with the New Patriotic Party (NPP) leadership and supporters in the North East region.
He has also been accused of making the party unpopular in the region.
He has been directed to vacate post immediately and hand over to the North East Regional Minister, Mr Solomon Boar.
Mr Mohammed was overwhelmingly endorsed by members of the assembly after the President’s first nominee, Mr Saaka Sayuti, failed two consecutive times to attract the required votes for confirmation.
