BREAKING: Killer of Liberia camp police officers arrested
News coming in from 3news.com and monitored by newsghana24 is that the wanted man who is alleged to have killed the two officers near the Liberia camp in Kasoa last Wednesday has been nabbed.
Eric Kojo Duah was arrested Saturday morning by the police. We will keep you updated.
The police officers were shot dead by suspected armed robbers in an unregistered Toyota Camry near the Liberian refugees’ camp in Gomoa Buduburam in the Central Region.
Eye witnesses indicated that the officers were of the Motor Transport and Traffic Department (MTTD) of the Ghana Police Service and were on that stretch inspecting unregistered vehicles.

They were therefore unarmed.
But after the driver of the Toyota Camry defied their order to stop at the Kasoa check point, the two officers are reported to have followed the saloon car to the Kaaf University College junction.
There was a resultant verbal exchange between the middle-aged driver and the officers but the former pulled a gun and shot at one Officer Dzameshie, the eye witnesses said.
The other officer ran for his life after sensing danger but he was hit by a bullet.
Some eye witnesses suspect the occupants of the Toyota Camry to be robbers but others said there was a young boy seated in the car.
There has been heavy police presence on that stretch after the incident.
