Breaking: Demo Hits UDS Navrongo
The University of Developments Studies (UDS) has been hit by a big demonstration this morning.
At the time of filing this report students were chanting and singing to register their displeasure about management to address a number of issues affecting students academic work on campus.

Reports coming in indicates all the lecture halls have even locked preventing access to them for students and lecturers.
The school’s main gate has also been locked.
Hence no one is able to enter or leave the school premises this morning.

A student who wants to remain anonymous revealed to NEWSGHANA24 and said “We were sacked from our lecture halls yesterday”
Our investigation has revealed that one of the reasons behind the student revolt against management has to do with power supply to the university.
There has been power cut at the Navrongo Campus since 1st October 2019 on both UDS navrongo and Wa campus.
This necessitated the demonstration among other issues.
Desks, tables, chairs and other pieces of furniture have been turned upside down and locked in lecture halls to prevent teaching and learning until the problem is solved.
