Asamoah Gyan’s Baby Jet Airlines Set to Operation in Ghana
Former Black Stars striker Asamoah Gyan has revealed that, Baby Jet Airlines Limited will start its operation soon in Ghana.
During the African Airshow at Kotoka International Airport 2017, President Akufo-Addo unveiled that Asamoah Gyan had acquired license to operate an airline in the country. However, his plans to start the airline operation were shelved due to lack of needed resources.
In an exclusive interview with Asempa FM’s ‘Ekosii Sen’ program on Tuesday June 4, Gyan revealed that the airline is indeed still in existence and will start operations soon.
“I want to assure everyone that Baby Jet Airlines Limited is still in existence. We launched the airline and acquired the needed licenses, but Covid-19 has delayed everything,” Gyan said. “But we will start operations very soon.”

The delay in the airline’s operations can be attributed to the COVID-19 pandemic, which has had a great impact on various industries worldwide.
Despite this setback, Gyan remains resolute in his commitment to bringing Baby Jet Airlines to life.

Some Notable Achievement Of Asamoah Gyan
Asamoah Gyan has received numerous awards and titles throughout his football career;
Gyan was among BBC African Footballer of the Year in 2010, and he was runner-up for African Footballer of the Year in the same year.
He was also named in the CAF Team of the Year in 2010, 2013 and 2014.
Gyan was a top scorer in the UAE Pro League for three consecutive seasons from 2011-2014.
He also achieved the title of top scorer in the AFC Champions League in 2014 and was included in the AFC Champions League Dream Team in the same year.
Additionally, he was named AFC Foreign Player of the Year in 2014, and he won the GCC Golden Boot in three seasons (2011-2014).
Gyan was also the top scorer in the UAE President’s Cup in two seasons (2013-2014, 2014-2015), and he was included in the Africa Cup of Nations Team of the Tournament in 2010 and 2013.
Gyan received the Ghana Men’s Player of the Year Award in 2012, and he was named Ghana Football Awards Player of the Decade (2011-2020) in 2019.
He also won Ghana Player of the Year twice, in 2010 and 2014.
