Algeria Beats Senegal to win AFCON 2019 Championship  

Algeria are AFCON 2019 Champions after they deservingly peeped Senegal by a goal to nil in the finals. On the night the Desert Foxes of Algeria were the better side and deserve to be champions of Africa. Algeria came, saw and conquered. They have therefore won their first AFCON title since 1990. Congrats, you deserve it. Senegal never came to the big party. Algeria won it after 29yrs wait, teams like Ghana Black Stars only flatter to decieve and will have to wait for many more decadeds to win an continental football trophy.

This epic clash  took place at the Cairo International Stadium on Friday, 19 Jul 2019, 8:00 PM (British Summer Time). The winning goal came early after just two minutes into the finals courtesy Bounedjah. This is exactly what Algeria needed to help them frustrate Senegal. Senegal were frustrate, ten minutes to the end of the game, they looked and played like a team that was now losing the game at hand after they have played their heart out chasing one one that had gone hiding in the desert near by.

In the end, Senegal failed to annex the trophy the second time in the finals. At the end of 90 minutes, it was surely a win for Algeria who have now proven that, they are a good side to reckon with on the continent in terms of football.

By this feat they have won their second ever continental trophy and have the bragging rights for the next one year.
