Accra to Host Historic “Who Di Best Global Concert 2026” in Unprecedented U.S.–Africa Cultural Partnership

In what organizers describe as a groundbreaking moment for global cultural collaboration, Ghana is set to host the maiden edition of the “Who Di Best Global Concert 2026,” a large-scale international music and cultural event aimed at uniting artists and audiences across continents.

The event, scheduled for September 26, 2026, in Accra, will run from 10:00 a.m. until late night, offering a full-day celebration of music, culture, and global artistic exchange. It is being spearheaded through a strategic partnership between the Teria Foundation and Carter Enterprise Empire, with support from international media platforms including Blazin 420 Radio, WPAM, and WGBB 95.9 FM in New York.

Described as an unprecedented collaboration between what organizers term “U.S. America” and “U.S. Africa,” the concert seeks to build stronger cultural and creative bridges between Africa, the United States, the Caribbean, and the wider global diaspora.

According to the organizers, the initiative is designed to serve as a unifying platform where leading international, regional, and local artists will perform on one stage, promoting a shared vision of “One World, One Nation, One Love.” The event will be broadcast globally via a pay-per-view live streaming system, extending its reach beyond physical attendees.

The concert will feature a diverse lineup spanning multiple genres, including Afrobeat, reggae, hip-hop, and contemporary global music. By blending traditional African sounds with modern global influences, the event aims to showcase the richness of cultural diversity while fostering cross-cultural collaboration and innovation.

Beyond entertainment, the initiative is expected to position Ghana as a key hub for international cultural diplomacy and a growing force within the global creative economy. Industry watchers say such large-scale global events could further strengthen the country’s reputation as a destination for arts, tourism, and international partnerships.

Organizers have opened channels for media engagement, sponsorship, and strategic partnerships ahead of the event, signaling plans for a broad and inclusive stakeholder involvement.

“This is more than a concert; it is a movement to connect cultures, celebrate creativity, and redefine global unity through music,” a statement from the organizers emphasized.

With anticipation already building, the “Who Di Best Global Concert 2026” is being touted as one of the most ambitious international entertainment events to be staged in Ghana in recent years.
