GCB Partners Kumasi Royal Golf Club To Host The 5TH Tournament Of Champions

For the fifth consecutive year, GCB Bank PLC returns to the Royal Golf Club, Kumasi as the sole sponsor of the prestigious Tournament of Champions to crown the Male and Female Golfers of the Year.

The GCB Tournament of Champions is a reserve for winners of all competitions at the club in the year. The list of qualifiers also includes the top 5 ranked male golfers in Ghana by the World Amateur Ranking System.
The Royal Golf Club, which hosts the event, is currently ranked the No.1 golf course in Ghana. The highly anticipated tournament brings the best golfers at the club aimed at crowning the champion of champions to end the club’s annual calendar.
The event also welcomes other golfers but in a supporting role to compete among themselves.
His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene, will perform the ceremonial tee-off. The tournament is in the class of royalties and has become a top-rated club event. His Royal Majesty will be playing alongside Mr. Jude Arthur, Board Chairman of GCB Bank PLC; Mr. Emmanuel Odartey Lamptey, Deputy Managing Director, Operations; Mr. Sam Aidoo, Executive Director, Wholesale & Business Banking, and Mr. Kwasi Attah-Antwi, the Management Chairman of the Royal Golf Club Kumasi.
