GOP and Clark County Recorder reach settlement in ballot observation lawsuit

Trump and Nevada Republican Party campaign lawyers said that they reached a resolution with the Clark County Recorder which, according to a new court filing, will allow further observations of the ballots held in the key Las Vegas area.

In a court filing, the Trump lawyers order the appeals courts to file their briefs for a further seven days, which requires the parties to the deal to collect their signatures.

“Barbara Cegavske and Joseph Gloria, appellants and claimants, were able to reach a settlement deal on 4 November 2020,” the tribunal filed.

Any context: Last week the Trump campaign and the Republican Party of Nevada criticized the method of signing and reviewing absent ballots in Clark County. A judge of the State Court had also denied the case but appealed the Trump campaign.
