4 gov’t officers suffer life-threatening accident
4 gov’t employees suffered a fatal accident while on their way to the Upper West region for the upcoming programme of government to be launched in the region.
Information gathered by newsghana24.com revealed that the fatal accident happened Monday dawn.
Those who suffered as a result of the crash are the District and Municipal Chief Executives from the Northern region – Zabzugu DCE Iddisah Ahmed and the Gushiegu DCE, Mr. Musah Issah.
Others include Mion DCE, Mohammed Hashim Abdullah, and the Bimbilla Municipal Chief Executive, Abdulai Yaqoue.

They were on board the vehicle of the Zabzugu DCE for the all-important agaric program Rearing for Food and Jobs programme to be launched by the president in Wa, the Upper West regional capital when the incident occurred.
According to details coming in, a bus coming from the Greater Accra end of the road, crashed into the vehicle in which the government officials were travelling which led to it somersaulting severally before coming to a halt.
Whiles the driver of the bus suffered a broken leg, three of the occupants of the people in the DECs car are currently in critical condition and are receiving treatment at the Tamale Teaching Hospital. However, they are to be transferred to Accra dues to the critical condition in which they are.
