27-Year-Old Man Arrested For Shooting A Motorbike Ride
A 27-year-old young man, identified as Prince Yoma, has been arrested by the police at Sehwi for shooting a motorbike rider he boarded in a bush.
According to the information acquired, the suspect hired Charles Bosompim, a motorbike rider from Sehwi Essase, an agricultural settlement in the Akontombra district, to drive him to Sehwi Ahibenso in the Bodi district.
According to reports, the suspect changed their course through a remote location, saying they would be paying for the trip from a friend who worked at a nearby mining site.
On the way, the suspect, Prince Yoma, pulled out a locally made pistol and shot the motorbike rider in the neck without provocation.
According to the victim, who told Adom News about the incident, the suspect picked up the motorbike and other objects of interest while the victim appeared to be dead.

The victim said that once the suspect left the area, he hurried to get assistance from some locals and was helped by some neighboring farms.
He was initially taken to Sehwi Juaboso Hospital but was ultimately moved to Asafo and Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital. However, he is being treated.
The police were informed and subsequently laid an ambush to arrest the suspect.
The suspect is in police custody at Bodi while the investigation is ongoing. The motorbike, two Ghana cards, a pistol and other items were retrieved from the suspect.
