The North Tongu Member of Parliament, Hon Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa says the about 1,624 WASSCE candidates in his constituency who sat for the just-ended 2020 WASSCE can now access their WAEC results at no cost.
The Management of the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) Friday November 13, 2020 announced publicly it has released the provisional results of the first batch of Free SHS beneficiaries who sat for 2020 WASSCE.
The Council in a blogpost sighted by Georgeweb.org on its website said it has hosted the results online and that candidates who desire to check their results may do so at the result checking portal http://ghana.waecdirect.org.
The former Education Minister as part of efforts to lessen the burden of parents and candidates in the North Tongu constituency has said the prospective WASSCE candidates can now check their results for free.

“Glad to announce that all 1,624 WASSCE candidates in my beloved North Tongu can now access their 2020 results just released by WAEC for FREE’, Mr Samuel Okudzeto announced on social media.

The leading member of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) added that “I have arranged with vendors to present their total bills to me for payment”. He further wished all candidates the very best.
