We Pray No Akufo-Addo should be Ghana’s Again – Krontehene.

In the recent after election news updates from different concent on the performance of his excellency Nana Akufo-Addo, the Krontihene of Akyem Asoum, Nana Boadi Amponim Abodade III, says some chiefs are happy President Akufo-Addo will no longer be in office, and pray there will not be another president like him. Let’s look at the reasons he highlighted below..

The Krontihene of Akyem Asoum, Nana Boadi Amponim Abodade III, has condemned President Akufo-Addo’s gross mismanagement backed with corruption of the country’s resources and stated that they are happy the president’s reign is finally over.

Nana Abodade III lamented how badly selfish leaders have robbed the state of its resources in an interview on GHOne TV. He said it was glaring how terrible the economy has been in the past eight years; hence, they were glad Akufo-Addo’s time in office was over.

He stated that President Nana Akufo-Addo apart been selfish, lies, and ignores the needs of people who brought him there. He is a dangerous president that Ghanaian doesn’t know of his unlawful acts.

Some Chief are quiet holding on their worries how he mismanaged the finances of the state. They all fought and hope for this change, and Ghanaian spoke their will by choosing from their heart their leader.

His statement :

«Some of us are happy that his reign is over. A lot of the chiefs are happy.»

Chief Nana Abodade III was also unhappy about Akufo-Addo reportedly directing chiefs during his visit to several locality to be on their feet to welcome him. Such legacy could have been given to Nana Akufo-Addo without him asking for it.

Most Chief are unhappy, Nana Akufo-Addo has the capacity to do better for his country, not destroyed after 8 years leaving the citizen in unprecedented hardship.

“A good friend of mine who is also a chief told me once that, let’s see if he will come around and instruct chiefs to greet him. It’s not a good legacy. He could have done more. He had so much revenue, he had so much he could have done for this country, and so we pray we don’t get another Akufo-Addo to be president.”

We’ll not have another Akufo-Addo who will instruct chiefs to stand and greet him… Krontihene of Akyem Asoum said.

He also expressed support for President-elect John Mahama’s Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) initiative and likened him to the Biblical Good Samaritan.

Nana Abodade III added that former President John Mahama’s re-election provides a beacon of hope for Ghana to recover its stolen resources to return to its glory days.
We thank God that the good Lord is about to give the mantle to President Mahama. As it is in Luke 10:29, Ghana has been stripped naked, and Mother Ghana is bleeding.

The robbers have stolen all the goodies. So, a good Samaritan has come to rescue her and put her in a good, healthy, and happy situation and also recover the loot that the robbers took.

John Mahama will be sworn in as president on January 7, 2024.
