A Plus disagrees with the assertion and the picture President Nana Addo is painting that he is being sabotaged by some elements within the New Patriotic Party (NPP). In the view and wisdom of Kwame Asare Obeng widely known as A plus, the president is his own saboteur and enemy.
According to him, the President is sabotaging himself taking into account some of the decisions he takes and among others.
“Nana, nobody is sabotaging you. You sabotaged yourself. Which good president will sack a CEO who does not take salary or allowances, did not accept official car, residence or driver uses his own money to buy drugs and beds for the hospital uses his own money to fix oxygen plants which had broken down for 3 years, did not accept even fuel?”, he quizzed in a Facebook post sighted by newsghana24.com
The musician and politician who has remained controversial and relevant after the 2016 general election has not given members of the NPP, government and his appointees breathing space as he keeps them on their toes with every unproductive decisions of government.
He has also not been sympathetic to paid agents of the party whose special duty is to insult him each time he speaks his mind on happenings within the party that does not go down well with them.
“If I said this, those stupid 20 Ghana screenshot taking NPP fool soldiers would have called me a traitor. Ok the president is a traitor then. When I told him that his people were corrupt he went to Koforidua and said I was accusing them wrongly. He rather sacked Dr. Anyah for trying hard to save Korle Bu. What was Dr. Anyah’s crime? They say he was 65 years so had to leave. But Nana resigned Kwame Owusu the air condition man who is older than methuselah’s grandfather as board chairman.”
From the look of things, A Plus will continue to stay focused on his objectivity, open-mindedness and unflinching effort to make sure every government is power is held accountable for its actions irrespective of the politician and the police party in power.
In a related development, A Plus has turned down the request by the NPP for him to “Come back home”. He requested that certain conditions must be met before he will even consider the thought.
