Ahafo Regional House of Chiefs throws their support behind Bawumia’s policies
The vice president as well as the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has received praise from the Ahafo Regional House of Chiefs for his important contributions to a number of transformative projects.
The traditional leaders threw their royal support behind the Vice President and praised Dr. Bawumia’s programs and ambitions for Ghana.
Dr. Bawumia presented his vision for Ghana and the policies his government will adopt in a number of areas to address the nation’s difficulties and advance it at a meeting in Goaso with the Ahafo Regional House of Chiefs.
Several traditional leaders spoke in favor of Dr. Bawumia’s ideas and presidential bid following his speech.
Speaking first was Nana Ansah Adu Baah, President of the Ahafo Regional House Chiefs, who praised Dr. Bawumia’s humility and expressed faith in his abilities to reshape the nation as President through policies.
“Dr. Bawumia’s humility and policies are good for the country and the next generation. I have no doubt in my mind Bawumia means well for Ghana,” said Nana Ansah Adu Baah, who is also the Omanhene of Yamfo Traditional Area.
“The way he is humble is so admirable. I believe if he continues as our next President, it will be good for this country and the next generation. Let us help him and vote for him massively because he has good policies for this country. And his humility is really good for this country because it promotes peace and unity.”
Osuodumgya Barima Appiah Dwaah Boafo II, the Omanhene of Hwediem Traditional Area, and Osahene Kweku Aterkyi II, the Omanhene of Kukuom Traditional Area, both applauded Dr. Bawumia for his efforts and policies about his groundbreaking digitization drive.
“I commend Vice President Bawumia for what he has been able to do with the digitalization of our country. It is remarkable and very transformative – something which is helping the country, particularly the youth.”
Nana Adwoapo Dwamena Serwaa II, the Omanhemaa of the Bechem Traditional Area, expressed her admiration for Dr. Bawumia, saying that he is “ordained to be the next President” and that they will help him to fulfill his dreams.
Nana Akwasi Bosompra I, the Omanhene of Goaso, praised the NPP Government for the numerous development projects that have sprung up in the Ahafo Region, particularly in Goaso, which he credited to the NPP Government’s formation of the new Ahafo Region.
