UMaT receives computers and other accessories from AMS to support their E-learning activities

African Mining Services (AMS), a contract mining and exploratory drilling services company, has given the University of Mines and Technology, Tarkwa, computers and accessories worth $20,000. (UMaT).
The company’s Operations Manager, Joseph Abu Baka, noted at the presentation event at the university that AMS was one of the direct beneficiaries of UMaT products, thus the support for its training operations.
He acknowledged the relationship between AMS and UMaT with a number of UMaT graduates ending up at AMS.
The Pro-Vice Chancellor of the UMaT, Professor Anthony Simons, highlighted the importance of the computers and support from AMS to their e-learning efforts especially in COVID times.
