Trending Video: Abusive Policeman ‘mercilessly’ assaults 14-year-old son

A Ghanaian police officer who beats the hell out of his son all the time has been questioned by residents as to why he does that to his son. Knowing him as a law enforcement officer, they wonder why he does not set good examples for the public.
The residents of the area where he resides have alleged he has been assaulting the boy and leaving severe cuts on him for long.
This time, the community decided enough was enough and used a video of the abused boy and a short questioning of the father as proof of his habitual unaccepted treatment of the 14-year-old as evidence.
The officer who is an employee of the Ghana Police Service has been identified as Frank. He resides in Pig-farm suburb in Accra close to Newtown.
In the video, the boy’s mutilated body resulting from the dad’s torture showed clearly that, the boy has been going through serious abuse.
Some group of individuals believed to be the police officer’s neighbours displayed the little boy’s body that has been decorated with injuries inflicted by his own father.
The people who seem fed up with the man’s constant maltreatment towards his son complained and admitted to being witnesses to several instances where the policeman assaulted the young boy without pity.
“If you are beating your son, beat him with sense. A whole police officer, look at what you’ve done to your son. Your own son. Just look at his body. This boy has done no wrong. He doesn’t deserve this treatment,” one of them stated.
We expect his superiors to call for his arrest and be prosecuted for abusing his son.
This “police officer who beats son” story must not die an artificial death. The law must be invoked and DOVVSU and The Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection (MoGCSP) must act swiftly.
