There is reduction in the cost of persuing application forms for health institutions

The Minister of Health, Hon. Kwabena Mintah Akandoh upon several consideration has signed on the reduction of the cost of application forms of Ghanaian students who are entering into the various health training institutions.
BIn a press release issued by the Office of the Minister for Health, Hon. Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, the ministry revealed that the cost of application forms has been reduced from GHS 200.00 to GHS 150.00.The reduction is intended to enhance access and affordability for applicants across the country,” the statement emphasized.
The sale of application forms for the 2025/2026 academic year is set to begin on Tuesday, 22nd April 2025, and will end on Thursday, 19th June 2025. The Ministry has assured the public that “details will be published soon.”The Minister cautioned prospective applicants to be mindful of where they purchase the forms:
“The general public and all prospective applicants are entreated to take note that only GCB Bank PLC and the Agriculture Development Bank are mandated to sell the application forms.”.
It is obvious that this decision was made just to enhance easy access to this training institutions as well as granting everyone including those financially challenged the opportunity to train their skills for improvement in the country.
Prospective students seeking admission into health training institutions in Ghana will pay less for application forms this year, following a significant reduction in costs announced by the Ministry of Health.
