Police Arrest 9 Suspected Drug Dealers at “Vegas Ghetto”.

A team of Police Officers from the National Police Operations, led by Chief Superintendent Mr. Hlomenu, arrested nine drug dealers at the Achimota “Vegas Ghetto” in Accra during an intelligence-led operation yesterday 22nd January 2020.
Items retrieved from the suspects included several parcels of wrapped white substances and dried leaves believed to be narcotic drugs.

The operation is part of the Police Administration’s resolve to weed out criminals from the Ghanaian society. Such intelligence-led preventive policing and strategic operational exercises will continue, to ensure that law and order are achieved before, during and after this year’s general elections.
