Outstanding Issues with Strike Action Resolved; UTAG Confirms

A lot has happened since the start of the strike action by UTAG at the beginning of the year which seem to have lasted about two months.
UTAG went on the strike to demand better conditions of service mostly concerning salaries and allowances including the 2013 Interim Market Premium (IMP) and the payment of an annual research allowance.
Dr Asare Asante Annor, General Secretary of UTAG, confirms that issues with government have been mutually resolved and therefore lecturers will continue with lectures since their return from the strike.
