The Atwima Mponua Constituency NPP in the Ashanti region led by Hon Isaac Kofi Marfo( Chairman), DCE Hon Williams Darko,and entire party Executives as well as teeming party members have set the record straight after the NPP NEC Results declared Hon Isaac Kwame Asiamah (Minister for Youth and Sports & Member of Parliament for Atwima Mponua Constituency) unopposed.

A statement from the party front by Hon Oboobi Bismark ( Atwima Mponua Constituency Organizer) hinted that one of the Aspirant for Parliamentary post Mr Ofori Atta who performed abysmally at the vetting hired NDC guys to create unnecessary tension and baseless press conference that NEC over Hon. Isaac Kwame Asiamah unopposed status. The defeated aspirants Mr Ofori Atta and Madam Augustina Asare see this unopposed status as unfair.

According to Hon Bismark Oboobi, Atwima Mponua Constituency of NPP are elated of the NEC Results declared saying it’s a true reflection of the goodwill and achievement by their industrious, Workaholic Member of Parliament as his enviable achievement made since 2005 up to date in areas of education, health,roads , electrification and others are crystal and hence to continue that legacy.

We the NPP Fraternity in the Atwima Mponua Constituency are focus as historically this NEC decision would propel them to work harder to amass more votes for NPP in 2020 for the NPP party.

He added that massive developmental Projects in the Atwima Mponua Constituency under Npp government is great phenomenon and at Mpasatia where Mr Ofori Atta, and his NDC congromelate held press conference have seen massive developments especially their dilapidated roads network to Bedabour enclaves is ongoing under Npp government.

There is an adage in Akan which says : De3 wo foro dua pa no, ye pia no meaning we support the good work been done by someone and Hon Asiamah has proved that legacy.

We are enjoying peace, unity, development in Atwimay Mponua Constituency and the party is advising so-called naive, frivolous press conference by Mr Ofori Atta to come out again and tell the truth of his abysmal performance at the vetting and stop lambasting the NEC decision of the Unopposed to their hardworking Minister.

He finally advised the party Members to remain peaceful and avoid any counter-arguments as the 2020 election is their focus.
