MoME first-ever Results Fair: Everything You Need to Know

The Ministry for Monitoring and Evaluation (MoME) organized the first-ever Results Fair from 14th January to 16th January 2020 at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).
The objective of the three-day fair was to showcase results achieved by Government flagship projects from 7th January 2017 to date. The theme of the fair was “Delivering Results For Our Citizens: A Work In Progress”
The National Identification Authority (NIA) participated in the fair and showcased some achievements of the Authority during the period under review.
On display at the NIA stand was the very first enrollment kit that was used from 2010 and its peripherals as well as the current enrollment kit.

A Registration Centre was created at the fairgrounds to register applicants who visited the NIA registration stand. Moreover, there was a demonstration of the Ghana card verification system to members of the public who were at the NIA stand.
The fair was opened by H.E. President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo thereafter he visited a number of stands including that of NIA, where he was met by the Executive Secretary Prof. Kenneth Agyemang Attafuah and shown the exhibits by the Head of Corporate Affairs ACI Francis Palmdeti.
The highlight of the fair for NIA was a four-member panel discussion held on the last day of the fair in the main auditorium. The panel was made up of the Executive Secretary of NIA, Prof. Kenneth Agyemang Attafuah, The CEO of Margins Group Mr Moses K. Baiden, The Executive Director of the Data Protection Commission, Ms Patricia Adusei-Poku and Ms Justina Laing, Head of Group Corporate Banking, CAL Bank. The topic for discussion was “Transacting business with the Ghana Card”.
