Bawumia joins 61st annual National conference of Ghana Muslim Mission

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia earlier today joined the National Chairman of the Ghana Muslim Mission, Sheikh Dr Amin Bonsu, and his executives, for the 61st Annual National Conference of the Mission at Kukuom in the Ahafo Region.
The Ghana Muslim Mission has been championing the advancement of education in Ghana by building over 100 educational institutions across the country.
I commended them for their immense contribution to education and also stressed on the importance of educating our children.
Education is a must, as preached by the Prophet Muhammad (may the peace of Allah be upon him), and the government of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is committed to providing access to education to all our children, hence the Free SHS initiative, doubling of capitation grant, restoration of nursing and teacher training allowances, introducing a new basic school curriculum, free pos graduate medical training, etc.
