Liverpool Crowned Champions Of The 2024/25 English Premier League

Liverpool Football Club was crowned champions of the 2024/25 English Premier League football season after their 5-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur later today with five more league games to play.
The Anfield stadium in Merseyside was the venue for all Liverpool fans in England to be, as they knew they could be crowned champions of England today.
Prior to their game against Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool had a total point of 79 and needed a win or a draw over the London-based club Tottenham Hotspur to guarantee them winning the trophy with more games to play.
After the full 90 minutes was played at Anfield, the home team, Liverpool, had put five goals into the nets of Tottenham, helping them pick up all three points and also mathematically win the English Premier League.
The Merseyside-based club Liverpool, at the start of the 2024/25 English Premier League season, made the purchase of only one player, that is, Italian striker Federico Chiesa from Juventus, for an amount of 12 million euros.
They also brought in Dutch manager Arne Slot to replace Jurgen Klopp, who had earlier told the Liverpool board members that he would not continue to take on the role as Liverpool head coach.
Liverpool winning this season’s title means they have won their 20th English Premier League trophy, winning their last in the 2019/20 football season.
Even though Liverpool has been crowned champions today, they still have five more league games to play, playing the last against Crystal Palace at Anfield. No matter what the results are against Crystal Palace, they will be given the English Premier League trophy.
