KTU first year student died of gas fire incident

A first year Koforidua Technical University, Rose Asante died in a gas fire.
A gas leakage occurred in a house where people did not recognise the smell. This leakage continued spreading to the extent of reaching a place where a woman unknowingly struck a matches which ignited the leakage and all of a sudden boom, a fire outbreak was caused.
The outbreak left three people including rose severe injuries which they were taken to the hospital. After been taken to the Eastern Regional Hospital for emergency treatment and further scrutinisation, it was declared that Rose could not with stand the agony and therefore passed away.
She was in her first year at Koforidua Technical University persuing HND in purchasing and supply.
These incident has left family and friends grieve which is unthinkable. The sudden death has surprised many. The other two people are in the Eastern Regional Hospital battling their lives. They were also left with bruises and burns.
Management and students of Koforidua Technical University (KTU) are mourning the tragic death of the first-year student Rose Asante, who sustained life-threatening injuries in a domestic gas fire outbreak.In honor of her memory, KTU students held a candlelight vigil on campus, mourning the loss of their colleague and expressing solidarity with her grieving family.
With students and friends comments they are extending their condolences to the berieved family.
