KNUST Lecturer and wife kidnapping case still in court as suspect is denied bail
Miss Rhodaline Amoah-Darko, wife of Dr. Wilberforce Nkrumah Aggrey, was declared missing on August 30, 2021 and has since not been found.
Mr Wilberforce is a KNUST lecturer and Rhodaline a Senior Lands Administrative Officer at the Kumasi office of the Lands Commission.
Dr Wiberforce was a suspect and was first arrested for questioning and investigations. He has been charged with kidnapping and deceit of a public officer and was arrested and appeared before court on February 22, 2022.
He has been denied bail more than once after his arrest with the most recent request on Tuesday, March 8, 2022.
Apparently he has Yaw Boateng and Justice Appiah as suspect accomplices whose warrant for arrest has been issued and are set to appear before court.
The next hearing of the case is on 22nd March, 2022.
