King Paluta can’t win Artiste of the Year – Ricky Tenneson

Ricky Tenneson has made it clear that King Paluta can’t win Artiste of the Year award at the upcoming Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA)
Ricky Tenneson, Veteran music pundit and executive has encouraged King Promise, the Afrobeat star to win the Artiste of the Year award at the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA), that will be coming on in May.
Tenneson’s agreement comes in the thick of intense debate and expectations around this year’s lineup of nominees, which some of Ghana’s most hardworking and renowned artists are included. During his speaking on The Chat on Channel One TV, he gave his reasons why he believes King Promise deserves the award amongst the seven nominees.
According to Tenneson, while the race is beyond doubtful rivalry, King Promise and Stonebwoy still remains favourites for the Artiste of the Year Awards. They have worked hard and they have impressed a lot.
Tenneson gave further details that, King Paluta is the next favourite artiste to win the award according to popularity,after King Promise and Stonebwoy. The analysis he made, lifted Team Eternity and Kweku Smoke ahead of King Paluta because he believed they influenced and were successful during the year under review.
“He stated that when it comes to the Artiste of the Year category, It is between King Promise and Stonebwoy. The third and fourth will actually be Kweku Smoke and Team Eternity respectively but not King Paluta.
He said he doesn’t have anything against King Paluta but he deals with data and science a lot. “It’s King Promise ahead of every artiste. He has been consistent” he said.
