Kevin Taylor: Take presidential convoy accident victims to Agenda 111 hospital not Mahama’s UG medical centre
Kevin Taylor, a member of the ruling NPP and a steadfast critic of the party, has questioned the government’s decision to send accident victims of President Nana Addo’s convey to the University of Ghana Medical Center, which John Mahama of the NDC built.
NewsGhana24 spotted Kevin Taylor tweeting, “I thought they were going to take them to the Agenda 111 hospital.”
He added that John Mahama’s health facility is saving lives.

His reaction was a response to a press release from the presidency.
The content of the release confirmed that the President’s convoy was involved in a fatal accident on the Accra-Kumasi Highway on Sunday, May 19, 2024.
Several vehicles belonging to the president’s convoy were involved in the fatal accident. The accident occurred around the Bonsu-Ayenso Asofo stretch of the road on the Kumasi Highway.
The sad, fatal crash occurred on their way from Kumasi after a series of events that the present participated in.
Sadly, Mr. Kwesi Atta, one of the drivers, lost his life in the fatal accident. Other security officers, including policemen detailed for the president’s convoy, suffered serious injuries and required emergency treatment and care at the University of Ghana Medical Centre.
The release also revealed that multiple vehicles in the president’s convoy sustained irreparable damage.

According to the release, President Nana Akufo Addo, who was part of the convoy, was unhurt and safe. He travelled to Accra via a military aircraft, according to the presser.
In response to his post, NPP supporters pointed out that Mahama’s UG medical center remained unfinished when the party assumed power. However, Kevin Taylor challenges them to read and find out the facts. “The uncompleted buildings? “, Cherubin @Senyo_Agbenyo asked.
